With LC+, we breathe new life into a solid waste regularly available in large quantities after the felling of oil palm trees. Oil palm trunks are commonly left to rot and decompose, chipped as fertilizer, or even burned. By salvaging this waste, we add value to our company portfolio whilst tackling global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution.

Naturally renewable, durable and long-lasting

LC+ is a resilient, naturally renewable material that is long-lasting when properly maintained. While it is inherently a highly durable building material, modern environmentally friendly treatments mean that we can extend its biological lifespan, making it excellent value for money.

Waste reduction and lower emissions

LC+ recovers and remanufactures biomass waste from oil palm plantations and channels it back into productive use as a higher value building material. It contributes to a lower carbon footprint for buildings. And as a lighter material, it can cut down on transport emissions. Further, as LC+ is fully engineered in our state-of-the-art factory, we can ensure precision and high levels of quality control in manufacturing, thus reducing waste.

Optimised Material Life Cycle

LC+ can be repaired and reused multiple times in it’s life cycle. It can be refurbished as required or remanufactured into new products, bringing waste down to almost zero.
